FAQs
Q: How do I apply an iron-on patch?
A: Place the patch on a heat-resistant fabric, cover with a thin cloth, and press with a dry iron at 150°C (302°F) for 30–60 seconds. Let it cool completely before use.
Q: Can I wash items with the patch attached?
A: Yes. Wash inside out on a gentle cycle. Avoid tumble drying, as high heat may weaken the adhesive over time.
Q: What if the edges start to lift?
A: Simply reapply heat following the ironing instructions. For extra durability, sew around the edges.
Q: Do I need to sew the patch on?
A: Not usually. Iron-on patches bond directly to fabric, but sewing around the edges is recommended for sweaters, leather, mesh, rough, or frequently washed items for extra durability.
Q: What fabrics work best?
A: Iron-on patches work best on cotton, denim, canvas, polyester, and most fabric blends. They are not suitable for down jackets or other heat-sensitive fabrics—for these, we recommend using stick-on patches or sewing the patch on.
